Heidi DiSalvo of Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio is working on a research study titled “Evaluating the Relationship between Fetal Movements in Pregnancy and Subsequent Diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy”.
The purpose of this research survey is to evaluate if the mothers of children born with SMA noticed a decrease in fetal movements as their pregnancy progressed, as well as other information about the pregnancy. Therefore, she is looking for biological mothers of individuals with SMA to complete an anonymous online survey.
